Cathy was a fun and wonderful client to work with and had a clear vision of what she wanted. This charming bungalow in cottage country boasts spectacular views and is surrounded by a natural, rugged landscape.
The main access to the house was up then over a set of pressure treated stairs and a walkway to the back door, both showing signs of wear and age. A previous homeowner had designed rock gardens on either side the stairs which we kept and incorporated into the new design. Overgrown junipers were removed to allow for widening the layout.
The wood was removed and replaced with 11 natural armour stone slabs that sit harmoniously within the existing landscape features. An interlock walkway provides unity between house and stone with a colour and pattern chosen to compliment both.
